5/28/2020 pride v. pride

Pride (noun)
1: the quality or state of being proud: such as
a: inordinate self-esteem: CONCEIT
b: a reasonable or justifiable self-respect
c: delight or elation arising from some act, possession, or relationship

The English language is confusing to me. The word pride is confusing.
He had too much pride to ask for help.
She was so full of pride she wanted to celebrate.
The second one is me. I want to celebrate. I want to shout it out.
Society has previously told me to keep quiet.
Well, you know what, that’s over.
